The demographic of Rock & Tumble has been reached successfully (http://welovemediaoyea.blogspot.com/2010/02/reader-profile.html) as the demographic is young males who aspire to work in music in the future. We did this by using masculine colours to attract males,rather than to attract women by using pinks,purples and pastely colours, this is known as Abhorrent readers. We also attracted young males by using young male role models to model for the magazine; as these men are established music artists whom are the same demographic as the readers, so in thought it should make readers think ' I could do that.' so that it is an aspirational magazine.
